What is Lenticular Printing?: Lenticular printing is a method in which several images are blended together by dividing them into strips and interlacing them together. The combined image is printed onto a plastic sheet that has lenticular lenses covering one side. The lenses allow the viewer to see only one of the original images at a time. By changing the viewing angle, the viewer can see the various images that were blended together. This gives the illusion of 3D, animation, flipping, morphing, and zooming images.
How Should the Artwork be Prepared?:
Art Guidelines for Lenticular Printing
- Create a layered Photoshop File
- Build at 300dpi, 100% size, plus bleed area
- Set Color Mode to "ColorMatchRGB"
- Do not convert Text to Graphics
- Provide Fonts in a separate file
- Keep Type at a minimum of 9pts.
- .psd .eps .jpg .tif .ai files are acceptable
- Stock Images available
